Alfalfa, Medicago sativa Alfalfa is rich in beta-carotene and Vitamins C, E, K and A. Vitamin K moves calcium into bones and keeps calcium out of arteries. Precautions: Do not use If you're taking anti-rejection drugs for a kidney transplant.

Almonds, Amandula Almonds are anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic, emollient and are also used as a tonic. They are also a great source of Vitamin E and minerals including magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron as well as providing an excellent amount of calcium, more than any other nut. Almonds contain several phytochemicals thought to low bad cholesterol levels and contribute to a healthy heart. The nuts are high in monounsaturated, a healthy fat which aids in lowering the risk of heart disease. Almonds are high in protein with almost no carbohydrates, an ideal food ideal for anyone with blood sugar issues.

Beet Root Powder Beta vulgaris Beet root contains beta-carotene, calcium, fiber, GABA, magnesium, pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5), phosphorous, potassium, selenium, thiamine (Vitamin B1), tryptophan, tyrosine, Vitamin C, and zinc.
